Summer Strength and Conditioning Guidelines

All athletes must have a physical on file with Henderson I.S.D. before participating in summer workouts. Here is a link to the physical form that must be filled out by a doctor.

Times: Boys - 8:00-10:00, Monday thru Friday beginning Tuesday, June 9th 
   Girls - 10:00-12:00, Monday thru Friday beginning Tuesday, June 9th 


Shutdown Days: July 3, 6, 7, 8, 20 and 21 all athletic facilities will be closed, we will not have workouts on these dates.

Upon arrival each day, all athletes will have their temperature checked and sign a self-screening form before beginning workouts.

Drop off: Boys will need to be dropped off at the old field house no earlier than 7:30 and must enter from the east side of the indoor. Girls will need to be dropped off at the back of the middle school no earlier than 9:30 and must enter from the back of the middle school.   

Male athletes will need to be picked up on the west end of the indoor at 10:00. Female athletes will need to be picked up at the back of the middle school at 12:00 There will be no post workout loitering.

Dress: Athletes will need to come dressed ready to workout. We will not have any locker rooms open for changing clothes or for showering after workout. Athletes will need to wear shorts, t-shirt, pair of tennis shoes and bring cleats if they have them.

If athletes would like to wear a mask or gloves, they must bring their own, we will not be providing masks or gloves.

Water: Athletes must bring their own source of water. Athletes will not be allowed to work out without having water. The amount of water must be able to last the athlete for 2 hours, so we are requiring either a gallon jug or a personal water cooler with the athletes name written on the jug or cooler.

Athletes can not share their water with other athletes.

We will not be providing any source to refill any water bottles, jugs or coolers.

Unlike years past, we will not be providing breakfast or lunch at this time so athletes will need to make sure they have breakfast before showing up to workout.
