Wylie Elementary School would like to recognize our paraprofessionals, all of which go above and beyond to help our students and school operate on a daily basis. We are truly grateful for each one of you and thank you for all you do for our school.

HISD received a report from a student at the Middle School campus today that they had heard about and had seen a threat to the campus posted on social media. We immediately took this report seriously and conducted a thorough investigation to determine the credibility of the threat.
After a detailed investigation involving a number of students and staff, we have found that the threat was unfounded and there is no evidence that there was ever any danger to our school or students. We take all threats seriously and are committed to ensuring the safety of our students and staff.
We appreciate everyone who cooperated with this investigation and want to remind all students that if they ever hear or see anything that causes them concern, they should immediately report it to a trusted adult. It is important that we work together as a community to maintain a safe and secure environment for all.
