Just a friendly reminder- tomorrow, Friday Sept 13, is the last day to shop the fall book fair! You can send money with your student, load money on the E-Wallet, or come shop with your student at lunch!

Wylie Elementary School will be participating in Start with Hello Week, which is Sept. 16-20. During this week, we will spend extra time focusing on the importance of friendship and being kind to one another by starting with a simple "Hello" to one another.
Dress up days for this week are attached.

Don't forget- Grandparents Bingo night is tonight from 5:30-7pm at Wylie Elementary School. The Book Fair will be open along with Bingo and Pizza! We hope to see you there!



Mark your calendars for Monday, Sept. 9 as we celebrate Grandparents Day with a night of BINGO with someone "Grand". We will have BINGO, snacks, and the Fall Book Fair from 5:30-7pm on Monday evening. We hope to see everyone there.

**Attendance is Linked to Graduation Rates**: Students who regularly attend school are more likely to graduate on time, while chronic absenteeism increases the likelihood of dropping out.

A medical incident occurred this afternoon at our Primary campus. A staff member experienced a minor medical issue, and our campus nurse promptly responded. Out of an abundance of caution, paramedics were called to assist, but transportation to the hospital was not necessary. This incident did not disrupt any student activities, and everyone is safe. We appreciate the swift and professional response from our nurse and the paramedics. - HISD Administration

Next week, Aug. 26-30, Wylie Elementary School will participate in Attendance Promotion Week . To celebrate these days, students will be allowed to dress up as we acknowledge the importance of regular school attendance. Please refer to the flyer for the dress up days.
