Parents, Due to the grass area being very muddy, we will be opening the gate to allow parents to park on the driveway that flows behind the building. Please be aware of how you park so that we don't block anyone in. Can't wait for an awesome 2nd grade field day!
Just a friendly reminder that 2nd grade field day is tomorrow at WES. Concession stand will be open and accepts cash and Venmo. Please be cautious where you park. The ground is still wet and muddy. We hope to see all our 2nd grade parents there!

3rd grade field day for Wylie Elementary School has been rescheduled to next Friday, May 10 at Lions Stadium due to weather conditions. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility on this situation. We want our students to be safe and enjoy their field day activities and feel this decision will ensure that.

Please pre-register to speed up the check in time for these days.
This Friday, May 3, is 3rd grade field day at Lions Stadium. All parents are invited to this event, but must remain in the bleachers to watch the activities. If you wish to check out your student, you must come to campus and sign them out of the front office.

Wylie Elementary Yearbooks for sale! We have approximately 60 yearbooks that are available for purchase. If you did not get your order form in on time, but would like to purchase one, please contact the front office to reserve yours. They are $20 each (cash or check).

For our Ultra FunRun pledge drive, we had a great competition for pledge requests sent by classes. We had two winners splitting prizes...Mrs. Bridges and Mrs. Zoyoquila. They each received $75 a piece plus $25 each for a class party.
We now turn our attention to our Total Points Class/Teacher Competition. We have a tight race and need everyone to give their best efforts to help us reach our goal. To clarify rules, all teachers in the top pack will have results calculated based on an adjusted % relative to number of students in the class, to account for varying class sizes. This is for $150, so get after it and get those students moving Wylie Elementary closer to our goal!
The cutoff for pledge credit is Thur. April 18 at 5:30pm. The Jog-a-Thon will be Friday, April 19 during the school day.
PTO will be purchasing a snowball for all students that get 10+ pledge requests or earns 4+ total points. If you would like your child to purchase one during the fun run they may do so, just make sure to bring $3 cash on April 19th.
