On Friday, some of our pre-k students took a trip to Kilgore to visit Ecoland! Ecoland's goal is to spark a love for our planet and its creatures while nurturing responsible and caring attitudes in children. Students get to experience interactive, hands-on tasks that boost developmental skills and cognitive growth.
This Friday, the rest of our pre-k classes will get to have their turn at Ecoland!

Mrs. Cochran's pre-k class had a guest reader today! Zuri Bazaldua, a kindergarten student in Mrs. McMurrey's class, wanted to read a passage and encourage the pre-k students to practice their reading skills. Good job Zuri!

Mrs. Quintanilla explained how these activities promote creativity, communication skills, and imagination, all while reinforcing concepts taught at school.

Our Pre-K students have been learning all about the life cycle of the butterfly! Today, Mrs. Jenni's class released the butterflies that started out in their classroom as caterpillars! The students can tell you about all four stages of the life cycle of the caterpillar!
