ACT/SAT TEST AND DATES
The ACT assessment measures high school students' general educational development and their capability to complete college-level work with the multiple choice tests covering four skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science. The optional Writing Test measures skill in planning and writing a short essay. ACT scores provide an indicator of college readiness, and scores in each of the subtests correspond to skills in entry-level college courses in English, algebra, social science, humanities, and biology. The ACT will be administered at Henderson High School on the following dates:

The ACT is a timed test that is 2 hours and 55 minutes long. The test is broken down into the following sections.

SAT Test
The SAT is an entrance exam used by most colleges which measures the high school student's readiness for college. You can find test dates and register to take the SAT here.
