Tuesday morning the Class of 2023 will be wearing caps and gowns to visit each HISD campus. Seniors are departing HHS at 7:55 AM. Parents are NOT allowed inside other campuses. However, the stop at HMS has been moved to HMS Field Day at the stadium. Parents may sit in the VISITOR stands at Lion Stadium to see the seniors. We anticipate arriving at the stadium at approximately 8:30. HMS is having Field Day at this time so please plan to arrive early. Pass the Torch Pep Rally is scheduled for 10:30 at HHS.

Reminder for HHS students:
9th-11th grade students have regular school days on Monday and Tuesday. Students who check out early on these days will be marked absent. Exams begin on Wednesday afternoon. Students who are exempt may leave campus during the exam time. Exemptions are determined on a 'per class period' basis. Students are responsible for being present for exams if they are not exempt. Failure to show up for required exams will jeopardize credit for the semester.

Seniors and Parents,
We will have weekly Senior Meetings during advisory on Wednesdays. Important information will be given to seniors each Wednesday. Today seniors were given a pink contract regarding expectations for graduation. We also discussed the senior activities as noted in this link. Seniors were reminded to clear all fines, return text books, return library books, return school-issued equipment and uniforms, etc. At senior check-out, checks will not be accepted.

Bi-District Playoff
The Lions will play Hudson in a best 2 of 3 series beginning here in Henderson on Friday, May 5, 2023. The first game will begin @ 5:30 pm with the 2nd game immediately following. If a 3rd game is needed they will play on Saturday, May 6, 2023 @ 12:00 pm in Hudson.
