HISD will be serving meals at no charge to all children ages 0-18 from June 3rd -28th at the middle school bus shuttle area Monday - Thursday from 11:15-12pm.
Friday’s lunch will be sent on Thursdays.
Children do not have to be in the car if the adult in the car is the parent or guardian.
If the adult in the car is not the parent or guardian, the child will need to be in the car in order to receive a meal. We will be verifying the child’s name and age, and you will receive a placard to hang each time you come. If a child is not in the district, you can bring the child or proof of child’s enrollment. No duplicate meals are allowed. If a child is at summer academy or doing summer workouts, they will receive a meal there.


Parents,
Please check final grades in skyward for your student. If the student has a failing grade for F (final) he/she will not earn credit for that course. If students were truant and did not attend Saturday school, credit will be denied. Students can make up credit in summer school. Registration is Thursday and Friday May 30 and 31. Registration is 8-12 at Henderson Middle School. Each class is $75. Summer school will take place on the HMS campus June 3-28, Monday-Thursday mornings only.

The 2024 Graduation will proceed even if it rains. Please be prepared for wet weather. We may delay the start by one or two hours if necessary to avoid severe weather or lightning. Only as a last resort will we postpone the event entirely. Please check HendersonISD.org/graduation for updated information.

Dear Henderson ISD Families,
As we approach our scheduled graduation ceremony, we are closely monitoring the weather forecast due to the possibility of rain on Thursday evening. Our commitment remains to have the ceremony at the stadium as planned, starting at 8:00 PM.
We understand the importance of this milestone event, and we will do everything possible to proceed with the ceremony on Thursday. This includes potentially delaying the start time for an hour or more, should there be an opportunity for a break in the weather.
Only as a last resort, if the weather conditions do not permit a safe ceremony, will we consider postponing the event to Friday evening at 8:00 PM. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we prepare for this very special event and thank you for your support and cooperation.

Thursday is an early release day for students! Students with transportation will be dismissed at 11:35. Bus routes will leave HHS at 12:35.
Don't miss your opportunity to see the HHS One Act Play at 7PM at the Old Admin Building on N. High (Thursday evening).
No school for students on Friday or Monday.
Monday evening is The Annual Powder Puff Game and Senior Recognition. Activities begin at 4:30 PM. Admission is $5.

All security lockdowns and holds in the district have been released. All students and staff are safe are returning to their regular class schedules.
The Henderson Police Department, campus SROs, district authorities and other law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, initiated an investigation into the threat and have determined there does not appear to be any immediate danger to students or staff.

Earlier this morning the Henderson Police Department received information regarding a possible threat against the school. We immediately increased our security presence on all of our campuses. The Henderson Police Department has initiated an investigation into the threat which is also ongoing.
